G17 with Night Sights v1.0 (BETA)

Modified Glock 17 with polished barrel, real glowing night sights and optional suppressor. Also includes IV-style icons and BF3 gun sounds.


---DETAILS---
Glowing sights in GTA IV with NO scripts or other files required! These sights glow indoors, outdoors, day or night, rain or shine - you'll never miss your target - 
unless you suck!

By default, the standard G17 replaces the Glock and the suppressed G17 replaces the Desert Eagle, but you can change this by simply renaming the files to anything else.

IF YOU ARE REPLACING THE DESERT EAGLE YOU MUST FOLLOW STEP 2 TO FIX HAND POSITION!!!!!


---VARIATIONS---
Standard G17 (replaces Glock)
Suppressed G17 (replaces Desert Eagle)

Both versions come with glowing sights - if you don't want glowing sights, you downloaded the wrong mod!


---INSTALLATION---

***ALWAYS BACK UP EVERYTHING***

1. Use OpenIV or SparkIV to replace the appropriate files located in "pc\models\cdimages\weapons.img" with the ones provided in the "Models" Folder.

2. If you installed the suppressed G17 in the Desert Eagle slot, use OpenIV or SparkIV to replace the original "gun@deagle.wad" animation file located in "pc\anim\anim.img" with 
   the file provided in the "Animation" folder.

3. Open "WeaponInfo.xml" in "Grand Theft Auto IV\common\data" and edit the "PISTOL" and "DEAGLE" sections with the codes provided below (or whichever one you installed):

4. A) Use SparkIV to extract "WEAPONS.ivaud" located in  "pc\audio\Sfx\resident.rpf"
   B) Use GTA IV-AUD to edit "WEAPONS.ivaud" and replace the sound for the weapon you swapped with the sound files provided in the "Sound" folder. Follow the guide below:
